The individual layers of my kitesurf board are coming apart, what can I do?Updated 8 months ago

Necessary tools and materials:

- Sandpaper (different grit sizes)

- Acetone or rubbing alcohol

- Epoxy resin and hardener

- Clamp

- Putty knife

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Cleaning: Clean the delaminated area thoroughly with acetone or rubbing alcohol and allow to dry.

2. Sanding: Lightly sand the affected area to ensure better adhesion of the resin.

3. Mix the epoxy resin: Mix the epoxy resin according to the instructions on the packaging.

4. Applying the resin: Work the resin into the delaminated area.

5. Clamp: Fix the area with a clamp and allow the resin to cure according to the manufacturer's instructions.

6. Finishing: After curing, sand the repaired area smooth.

If the damage to the board is more extensive, we recommend having it repaired by a professional repair store. (link Repair Shop Finder)
